Dingman Center for
Entrepreneurship
Facilitates, supports, and encourages entrepreneurship and new enterprise growth
in the mid-Atlantic region through outreach, education and research. The
Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship (DCE) assists emerging growth companies in
the Mid-Atlantic region with mentoring, seminars, business plan reviews, and
structured networking between entrepreneurs and capital providers. DCE supports
the undergraduate, MBA and Ph.D. academic programs in entrepreneurship at the
University of Maryland, including joint academic programs with the School of
Engineering. The DCE facilitates practitioner participation in academic programs

Enterprise Forum
The Forum is a non-profit organization dedicated to the
entrepreneur community of the greater Washington & Baltimore area. We
are open to the public and we reach out to local start-ups, high technology,
venture capitalists, angels, and the professionals who support them. Forums
provide excellent opportunities for networking and generate great
ideas for growing and building small companies. Several companies hosted
by the Forum, have subsequently grown to become stars of the investment and high
tech communities. The Forum is affiliated with the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology (M.I.T.), but participation and membership is open to the general

Charlottesville Venture Group
A business member organization, dedicated since the spring
of 1998 to educate businesses to help fund growth and development, inform
investors of investment opportunities in the Central Virginia Region, and assist
in the expansion of wealth creation potential. The Venture Group meets for
breakfast, networking, and a formal program on the third Tuesday of each month
at 7:30 am. This month we will meet at the WATER STREET TERRACE, located
