MountainWest Venture Group
Based in Salt Lake City,is comprised of a broad mix of entrepreneurs, venture capital providers, professional consultants, attorneys, bankers, accountants, and educators from universities and institutions of higher education. The Group seeks to promote business growth and capital development in the state through a variety of activities:

Monthly Business Luncheons and Presentations: Members and their guests general meet the third Thursday of each month at the Alta Club in Salt Lake City for business presentations, networking opportunities, and the exchange of ideas.

Horizons Newsletter: Business development and capital funding news is published monthly in the Group's newsletter. Horizons articles include entrepreneur success stories, business development advice from Utah business experts, news and information on the Group's upcoming activities and events, and reports on the Group's monthly business luncheons.

Utah 100 Awards: The Group sponsors this annual event to honor the top 100 fastest growing companies and the top 25 revenue growth companies in Utah. Each Fall, winners are chosen from an impressive group of high-growth applicants and honored by the Governor and others.

Deal Flow Event: The Group monitors and promotes capital funding and deal flow within Utah and from capital sources outside the State. The Group publishes an annual report summarizing selected deal flow transactions involving Utah companies.

Other Events Sponsored by MountainWest Venture Group: The Group also sponsors the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the Utah Governor's Young Entrepreneur Finalist Program, and the MountainWest Venture Group Golf Tournament.

While MountainWest Venture Group seeks to promote, develop, and provide a forum for capital funding and deal flow transactions, the Group does not provide venture capital or other financing to companies. www.mwvg.org
