Central Florida Innovation Corp

CFIC creates new high growth companies by licensing technology from local industry and from the University of Central Florida. CFIC then works with partners to incorporate the new companies, define their markets, build their infrastructure and raise investment capital. CFIC also works with promising local entrepreneurs.  CFIC uses a unique and rigorous methodology to help an entrepreneur enhance their business on a custom set of winning strategies.  This CFIC process takes about half a year to move a promising company from an interesting premise to an investable compelling story. The Innovation Club is CFIC's pool of local private investors.  These investors meet monthly to hear from the most promising CFIC clients, after they have successfully complete CFIC's entrepreneur workshop, "Success Solutions." CFIC also operates the Emerging Business Network (EBN), a membership-based organization that provides information about business resources and opportunities in Central Florida, as well as the annual venture capital conference - Innovation Florida, and other programs/services. www.cfic.org
