Ttransaction size is targeted investments are "middle market" companies with annual sales in the range of $5 million to $50 million. We make equity investments from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 and are significant investors in our portfolio  companies.  Industry Focus: ACP's focus is on manufacturing, production, distribution, and service companies. We do  NOT invest in financial, real estate, or retail operations. Specifically, ACP targets non-cyclical, non-commodity companies  with moderate capital expenditure requirements and no unusual working capital needs, and avoid exposure to companies with a history of labor, environmental or legal issues.  Geographical Location:  The fund has a national investment orientation, but it is expected that a majority of its investments will take place in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, the Dakotas, and Nebraska based on the strength of ACP's network and expected deal flow. Financial Parameters:  Companies with proven historical  earnings records and with consistent and predictable cash flows are preferred. Companies with strong balance sheets and/or  stable cash flows with the ability to support a reasonable level of acquisition leverage are preferred.
