Mr. Clifton has been an owner of small businesses and has been involved in numerous deals assisting business owners in finding the financing they need to succeed. He has written and lectured on the subjects of entrepreneurship and private company valuations. . Ted Clifton formed Clifton & Associates and Enterprise Consulting ( www.enterpro.com ) in 1989 to offer business brokering and business consulting services. The firm has often worked for corporate clients developing strategic acquisition programs. This has included the development of lines-of-credit to support these acquisition plans. Prior to forming Clifton & Associates, Ted Clifton was Controller/CFO of several companies involved in retail, wholesale/distribution, and real estate. Also Ted Clifton worked for W.R.Grace, New York, involved in acquisitions within the oil and gas industry. Ted Clifton has also been an entrepreneur. He has owned restaurants, concession operations, retail shoe stores, a printing plant, and a real estate development company. As a Affiliate/CPA Ted Clifton has extensive experience preparing business plans and finding financing solutions for the retail industry, food service industry, wholesale/distributors and the service industry. Ted Clifton is a member of the International Business Brokers Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
